Brake friction manufacturer Mintex has launched a new on-line catalogue including a comprehensive vehicle registration (VRM) look up tool for Irish and UK vehicles. It also includes an advanced filtering system to aid in identification of the correct part first time for any vehicle. 

Commenting on the new easy to use catalogue, Simon Bradley Marketing Manager said, “The system has taken nearly a year to develop and trial, but with constructive feedback from customers we are now in a position to launch it to the market.  Data accuracy and eliminating options is the key focus of the catalogue and where we still have options, there is a comparison tool as an extra back-up in the identification”.

The full Mintex product portfolio is included within the catalogue and is regularly updated with vehicle applications making it one of the most comprehensive catalogue systems in the market. Simon comments, “We have developed it in such a way that you will find the answer to your query on a single screen 99% of the time, therefore the navigation of the system is at its simplest form avoiding confusing multi screens.”

The Mintex VRM is completely free to users of the site regardless of whether they are official members or a public user.  The part search function shows outline diagrams complete with part number, dimensions, application details and cross reference search results.
