LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler, one of the most experienced racing teams in European touring cars has added to its racing line-up with two Hyundai i30 N TCR joining its VW Golf TCRs.

The team is now competing in the ADAC TCR Germany racing series with six vehicles with two Hyundai i30 N TCR and four VW Golf TCRs.

Marketing Director Peter Baumann say that although two different models makes the logistics of team operation more complex, one area where there is no problem is in lubrication He says, "No matter which model, the engine and gearbox are lubricated by LIQUI MOLY. No special racing developments are used here, instead high-performance oils from the regular range. The fully synthetic Synthoil High Tech 5W-40 ensures that the engine can give its full performance even under extreme loads. And the Fully Synthetic Hypoid Gear Oil (GL5) LS SAE 75W-140 reliably protects the gearbox oil even in hot racing conditions.”

The two Hyundai i30 N TCR recently made an impressive racing debut at the Nürburgring. Driver Luca Engstler impressed in the second run, starting in 18th place, he fought his way up to the 6th position. Team colleague Théo Coicaud came in 8th place. In the first race the Frenchman was one place better and Luca Engstler came 9th.
