The first group of technicians has completed a new Hybrid vehicle training course as part of the Eure!Car Certified Master Class programme.

The day and a half course took place at the Eure!Car Training Centre in Swords and was based around a specially adapted Toyota Prius. The vehicle has been designed to simulate many common technical issues encountered on this Hybrid model and it allows technicians to get real life experience on how to diagnose, trace and resolve problems that arise with the vehicle systems.

The training provides an overview of hybrid vehicles and alternatives and explains how these vehicles function and differ from petrol and diesel models. It then goes on to analyse the Toyota Prius 2nd Generation platform and familiarise the attendees with on-board systems and diagnostic procedure. The course also provides a vital insight into hybrid vehicle safety procedures.

Those attending the course were technicians from customers of J&S Autoparts and Paint in Dun Laoghaire and gave very positive feedback on what they had learnt.

Further Eure!Car Training on the Toyota Prius is set to take place at various venues around Ireland over the coming weeks. For more information visit the Autobiz Training page by clicking here or call Mark 087-263-0962.
