The Cartec range of automotive refinishing and reconditioning products was attracting lots of interest at Automechanika Birmingham. In particular Cartec’s Refinish Line compounds and polishes proved to be very popular with visitors to the stand.

The range features products that can help produce a showroom like quality of finish in less time, thus reducing cost while ensuring quality of workmanship remain very high. In particular Diamond Cut 3000, a high performance cutting compound is a product that has proved very popular with customers in Ireland. It has an extremely fast cutting performance and delivers a high gloss finish in quick time. It performs well even on hard and scratch-resistant paints, with fast removal of sanding scratches and its unique formulation makes post job clean-up quick and easy.

Also on display was the new range of Cartec compound heads to complement Cartec polishing compounds. These high quality heads feature concave edges for easier access in difficult to reach areas meaning better polishing flexibility and more consistent results.

Diamond Cut 3000 and other Cartec Refinish products are distributed in Ireland by Autopaint Supplies which has outlets in Dundalk, Roscommon, Swords and their new depot in Cork. For more information visit www.autopaint.ie
