The second of three Somora - Yuasa Battery Training evenings took place at Radisson Blu, Letterkenny on Tuesday evening. The event was very well attended by both garages and motor factors all keen to find out more about the latest developments in battery technology.  


Ian Newham, Head Training Manager for Yuasa Battery Europe, presented the training which covered Stop/Start Technologies, best practice when checking battery warranties and how to use the new Yuasa GYT250 Battery Tester. It also touched on use of the new Yuasa battery chargers range, the online Yuasa Academy battery training resource and the latest Lithium Ion starter batteries. 

Winner of the second of three 65 inch LG 4K TV to be given away over the week was Mark Travers, of Mackey Plant and Agri Spares, Belleek. Three other attendees also won €100 Ticket Master Vouchers, while everyone received a Yuasa Goodie Bag. 

The roadshow now moves on to its final event on Thursday 20th October in Waterford, at the Tower Hotel, Waterford City (X91 VXE0) at 7.30PM where a TV and more prizes have to be won.
