Somora Motor Parts, in conjunction with its battery supplier Yuasa Europe, has announced a series of special training evenings on AGM / EFB batteries to take place around Ireland. Each event will be hosted by Ian Newham, the head of Yuasa Europe’s Training Division and focus in on AGM and EFB Stop / Start batteries, dispelling many of the myths that still surround this type of technology.

The presentation will also cover Yuasa’s battery reprogramming tool and demonstrate how garages can use such tools to enhance customer service and ensure the customer always gets the correct battery for their vehicle.

After a hot summer, and with the potential for another cold winter, demand for AGM and EFB batteries is expect to rise sharply in the coming months and these seminars will help garages to make the most of these opportunities.

Dates and venues for the events are:
  • Monday October 8th - Red Cow Moran Hotel Dublin
  • Tuesday October 9th  - Cork Airport Hotel, Cork
  • Wednesday October 10th - Maldron Hotel,  Oranmore, Galway
  • Thursday October 11th - Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan
All of the events run from 8 pm to 9.30 pm. Places are limited and anyone interested is asked to call Somora on 01-675-4500 or contact a Somora representative to reserve a place.
