Mirka is to present a range of Future Bodyshop Solutions at Automechanika 2014 in Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive industry.

The company says a wide range of innovative solutions and unique products will be on display and this will include the launch of a new range of abrasives, especially developed for aluminium sanding.

Also on display will be many of the innovations already introduced this year such as its new generation of electric sanders, Mirka DEROS which has been awarded both the IF product Design Award 2014 and the Red Dot Industrial Design Award 2014. The use of electric sanders instead of traditional pneumatic sanders has become more common in many markets, including bodyshop, thanks in part to Mirka’s innovative electric sander solutions.

The latest development with Mirka’s hugely popular Abranet and dust-free sanding system will also be highlighted. Abranet Ace together with the OSP System are the newest innovations in dust free sanding and together with tools and polishing solutions form an important part of Mirka Future Bodyshop Solutions.

Continuing the Mirka tradition of research, development and innovation, Aquastar, a totally unique and patented abrasive for wet sanding applications will also be launched at Automechanika.

Mirka Future Bodyshop Solutions will be Automechanika 2014 Frankfurt from September 16th to 20th. The Mirka stand is located in Hall 11.1, Stand C53.
