The Ford Transit is a vehicle with almost legendary status and in its various incarnations, since it was first introduced almost sixty years ago, it has been the go-to vehicle of choice for both delivery and trade vehicles in Ireland, for many businesses.

Reflecting the move to more sustainable transportation, the Ford E Transit, electric version is now proving popular. In fact for tradespeople and short haul delivery drivers, electric vehicles make good sense, as they generally only cover limited mileage, before returning to base where the vehicle can be charged overnight if required. The E Tansit has a range of 317 km, which is adequate for most daily needs.

Because the E Transit, introduced in 2022, is relatively new and also electric, there tends to be a perception that replacement parts are only available from dealers. However, parts specialist febi, offers several key parts for this vehicle. This includes in-demand brake discs and suspension parts which can fail because of harsh working environments and heavy loads.

For example the febi range for the E Transit, 2022 on, includes:
  • febi 178027, Brake Disc, OE No. 2 168 836
  • febi 182166, Control Arm, OE No. 2 385 106
  • febi 185185, Roller Rail, OE No. 2 581 237 SK
  • febi 181411, Tie Rod End, OE No. 2 227 099
You can see all of the febi parts for Transit models in the partsfinder online catalogue
