Ayce Systems reported great interest in its smart repair and alloy wheel repair systems at Automechanika Birmingham, with Irish visitors once again being some of the keenest to find out about the opportunities the equipment can open up.

In particular the Ayce team was showcasing a new Hydraulic Alloy Wheel Straightener. The unit has been specially developed by Ayce to provide a quick and simple solution for the straightening of alloy wheels. This allows garages and bodyshops to tap into a market where some three quarters of cars on the road have alloys which can often suffer damage on poor road surfaces.

The new straightener features more power and greater piston travel. This allows for quick and effective removal of flat spots and buckles in the wheel, saving the customer the expense of replacement. On average a wheel can be straightened in just 15 minutes.

The unit handles wheels from 10" to 24" and offers up to 250 Bar working pressure. Full training is provided and economical finance deals are available.
