After many years when equipment investment was strictly limited, Irish bodyshops are now looking to upgrade their repair and painting technology, with spraybooths in particular a major focus of attention. Bodyshop equipment supplier Vinny Byrne has seen interest in it spraybooth range increase dramatically in recent months, as repairers look to reap the benefits of improved technology.

Vinny Byrne Equipment Sales Manager Ken Yearsley says, "The performance and efficiency of the latest booths is a world away from the ten to twenty year old technology that many bodyshops still rely on. The new booths we offer are far more efficient than old designs, meaning a dramatic reduction in energy costs, with more economical heating and vastly improved insulation. There have also been great improvements in areas such as air flow, filtration and lighting. This means with a new booth, a repairer can not only boost productivity and cut cost, but also achieve a higher standard of finish.”

Vinny Byrne offers a range of advanced Yoki Spraybooths which are raised base to avoid the need for costly and inconvenient excavation work during installation. They are available in both single and three phase electrical power options. The single phase option is especially useful for bodyshops in more remote locations.

Yoki Spraybooths from Vinny Byrne start at just €19,532 +vat on a self-install basis.
