Derek Tohill and the PFCRX must wait a little longer to be confirmed as the British Rallycross Champions in the Supercar Class after a strong showing at Lydden Hill in Kent.

Tohill bagged a pair of podium finishes, with third in round six on Saturday and second in round seven on Sunday, and also claimed a near maximum points haul of the 5 Nations BRX registered competitors to climb back into the points lead with the Olsbergs MSE-built, C-Sport run Ford Fiesta Supercar.

Later it was decided that the results after Lydden Hill would stand as the outright championship results for all other classes when the Spa Francorchamps Circuit advised the 5 Nations BRX organisers that the track would no longer be available to run the final meeting of the season in December. Organisers tried to find another circuit but were unable to secure a viable economic venue and the standings after Lydden Hill were deemed to be the conclusive results for most categories.

However, while Derek Tohill has the overall lead following the Kent event the Supercar results are subject to an ongoing enquiry by Motorsport UK and points remain provisional.before he can add the coveted British title to his European and Irish crowns.
