Somora Motor Parts has unveiled a major update to its comprehensive website. The latest developments mean that visitors to the site can easily find non-catalogued products such as refinishing materials, abrasives, lubricants, bulbs and many more consumable items, online for the first time. The changes see the introduction of numerous new filters, as well as a word search facility to help visitors easily identify the products required.

The ease of use of the new features is illustrated with a search to find a 5 litre can of automotive 5W-20 grade oil. The visitor simply goes to www.somora.ie and clicks on the “Oils & Lubricants” button. This will then present a number of options for the various types of lubricants that Somora supplier, Kroon-Oil, manufacture.

In this example the user would click on “Automotive Motor Oils” to display further filter options on the left of the screen. These can then be used to refine the search to meet the user’s requirements, in this instance, - “Engine Oil”, - “Container Size” 5 litres and -“Viscosity” 5W-20. This produces the result: 5W-20 oil (K35173) in the 5 litre can required. In this instance a green tick alongside the product indicates that it is in stock.

Popular categories covered by the update include; Refinishing, Bulbs, Batteries & Chargers, Cleaning & Sanitizing and Accessories as well as Oils and Lubricants.
