Following a two year sabbatical from the retail end of the motor trade, Niall Cunnigham is back n the trade in Galway with the opening of a new business, Cunningham Autopoint, which began trading at the beginning of September. The business is based in a modern facility in Oranmore, next to the railway crossing after the Maldron Hotel on the Carnmore Road.

The former co-owner of Cunningham Higgins with Joe Higgins has been working with Porsche in Ireland following the closure of their Mercedes franchise a couple of years ago in Ballybrit. With the announcement in the last month that Colm Quinn BMW are also opening a new garage in the city, this is good news for the motor industry in Galway,

Niall Cuningham says, “Cunningham Autopoint will aim to offer you the same personal service and customer focused environment that I hope you enjoyed previously.

“The business will offer a great selection of nearly new and pre-owned cars across a wide range of brands and prices, from small and family cars to premium and luxury models. All cars will be prepared to the highest standards and will come with a first class level of after-sales service.”

Continuing, Niall told us. “We will also have a workshop department offering service and repair facilities, including free NCT checks, for all makes and models. Our service department will offer factory level diagnostics for many brands including Mercedes, Saab, Chrysler Jeep, Porsche, BMW, Audi and more. Should you have any service or repair requirements we would be delighted to quote you for this and assure you of our best attention should you choose to use our service facility.”

A comfortable customer waiting area will be available in the showroom with complimentary refreshments, SKY News / Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, for those who wish to relax or work while waiting for their vehicle.
