Laser Tools is now offering the 8206 12V vehicle battery tester, a compact unit that accurately tests battery health, cranking voltage and charge voltage, perfect for testing batteries at this critical time of year.

This instrument is designed to simplify the inspection and maintenance of a vehicle's battery and charging system, making it an invaluable asset for automotive professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

The user simply enters the battery details from the battery label and runs the chosen test. The results are displayed on the easy-to-read LCD display with backlighting, making it suitable for use in on the move and in the darkest workshop corners.

The equipment offers comprehensive battery testing and is compatible with a wide range of battery types, including 12V normal lead-acid batteries, sealed maintenance-free batteries, standard-type batteries, EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) batteries, and AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries.

The tester accurately measures battery voltage and charging voltage, helping to identify issues with the battery's electrical output. It also evaluates the system voltage when the engine is starting. The CCA (cold cranking amps) figure can be used to predict the lifetime of the battery. The unit has no internal battery and is mounted in a protective rubber cover.

The 8207 12V battery tester is CE and UKCA compliant and is now available from Laser Tools stockists.
