Serfac Limited has added Borg & Beck braking to its brand range.  The Borg & Beck braking programme contains over 3600 part numbers and provides comprehensive coverage of the European car parc with OE specified product designed to the highest standards.

Although predominantly known in the aftermarket for its clutch components and kits, Borg & Beck’s braking programme builds on the brand’s strong reputation and provides aftermarket professionals with a comprehensive range of matching original equipment quality braking products.

Braking systems are safety critical items so only OEM quality product from the world's leading manufacturers are used in Borg & Beck kits. The brand’s high level of recognition with the public also provides the independent workshop with a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Borg & Beck’s braking programme includes brake pads that are manufactured to match the OE fitment and can be fully relied upon to deliver OE quality performance.  Each high quality pad set is specifically designed to reflect the original equipment supply (OES) product as distributed through the dealer networks.  This means that when an OES pad set incorporates a chamfered edge, shim, slot, or includes a wear indicator lead, the Borg & Beck pad set does also.  This attention to detail is applied to all the products within the range, including the matching OE quality discs, which provide optimum range coverage for the Irish car parc.

Commenting on the latest addition to the Serfac brand range, Liam O’Donohoe, Commercial Manager at Serfac said, "We are pleased to offer Borg & Beck braking to our customers and we are confident that it will provide them with a programme that will make a real difference to their businesses." He added, “First Line, the owner of the Borg & Beck brand, is renowned for its excellent cataloguing, so naturally full application reference details, along with product diagrams and images are available via the major electronic cataloguing system providers and a printed catalogue is also available.”

Liam also explained that to ensure that the products are also able to compete equally against other quality braking suppliers, the company has aligned its pricing to provide the factor with an extremely competitive proposition.  As a result Serfac are fully confident that the combination of quality, range, availability and price is sure to make Borg & Beck braking components a success in the Irish marketplace.
