Under inflated tyres
Share:

Ring Automotive is advising drivers to check that their tyre pressure is correct. Between 60% and 85% of motorists admit they never check their car tyre pressure. This is in spite of the fact that tyres are the only contact that the vehicle has with the road surface.

Under inflated tyres can result in the engine having to use more fuel to maintain the same performance as a correctly inflated tyre, due to increased drag and rolling resistance. Correct tyre pressures help to maintain optimum fuel efficiency, reducing Co2 emissions, which is good for the environment and benefit to your wallet.

Tyre pressure should be checked regularly and especially when setting out on a long journey.

Ring Automotive has launched a new range of four, digital tyre pressure gauges complete with tread depth reader. Available from your local Motor Factor.
