MAM Software has announced that it has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for information security management. The award recognises the company's recent efforts to develop an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information and ensure risks to the business are managed effectively.

ISO 27001 is a global security standard that sets out a framework of requirements for an information security management system. In order to achieve the certification, MAM Software was required to develop and demonstrate a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information.

The certification is recognised by customers and prospects alike and provides them with assurance that MAM Software is committed to following best information security practice, while also strengthening the company's credentials as a market leading software provider within the industry.

Robin Darnell, Operations Director at MAM, said, "We are delighted to have achieved ISO 27001 certification. It recognises the measures we have put into place to protect our data, and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to robust security practices and risk management.” He added, "The award confirms that our policies and procedures comply with the most stringent international standards and provides our customers and partners with additional reassurance of the quality and resilience of the service that we provide."
