As used on Audi, Seat, Skoda and VW, the 2CT wet double clutch is now very common on Irish roads. Replacement is challenging for a technician, but as this Schaeffler REPXPERT video shows, with the right tools and expertise and a clear procedure it can be performed effectively.

The video shows in simple clear stages the removal and Installation of a LuK RepSet Double Clutch as used with the Audi, Seat, Skoda, and VW 7-speed transmission (DQ380/81, DQ 500).

Double-clutch transmissions have become more and more important in the marketplace, as an increasing number of vehicle manufactures make use of them. The LuK RepSet 2CT is the practical repair solution for this technology. In addition to the double clutch the LuK RepSet 2CT contains all components required for the complete replacement of the double-clutch-system with all parts without exception in OE quality.

Similar procedures are required for repairs to Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai and Renault vehicles.

For repairing a double clutch, special tools are also required and Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket offers this as a modular system. This puts garages in a position to repair the different double-clutch systems of each vehicle manufacturer.

Schaeffler completes this repair solution with comprehensive training programmes, technical brochures and detailed repair instructions as well as the training video.
