New appointments at MEYLE parent company

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG, the Hamburg based manufacturer of the MEYLE and MEYLE-HD component brands, has added to the strength of its management team with the creation of two new board positions.


André Sobottka will take up a new director role responsible for Sales, Marketing and Communications, while Michael Knopf will become the board member responsible company Organisation, IT and new business.

André Sobottka has extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket gained in previous roles with Philips, Honeywell and Federal-Mogul, where he was most recently Managing Director North Europe.

Michael Knopf has been working at Wulf Gaertner Autoparts for over seven years and has been responsible for the successful implementation of a new IT strategy. He is an experienced process, organisational and ERP expert.
