Mirka is a major sponsor of the automotive paint category for the WorldSkills vocational education and skills excellence competition that takes place in São Paulo Brazil this month.

Held every two years, the WorldSkills Competition is the world's largest professional education event. Competitors from 60 countries take part, simulating real work challenges that must be completed to international quality standards. The 43rd WorldSkills Competition is taking place at Anhembi Park in the city of São Paulo. It is the first time that the event has been held in Latin America.

Competitors in the automotive paint category will use Mirka equipment and materials including the  innovative electric sander Mirka Deros, Abranet Ace, the Mirka Dust Extractor 1025L and a complete sanding station including machines, abrasives, polishing compounds and related accessories for automotive paint preparation.
