Honda will be showing its latest generation Autonomous Work Vehicle prototype at CONEXPO 2023 in Las Vegas later this month. The all-electric vehicle could transform work on many construction sites and in other work environments.

This is the third generation AWV, but after extensive testing it now looks ready to become a commercial reality. Honda say the driverless workhorse is reliable, safe and clean and can help combat pollution and labour shortages. The fully programmable all-electric Honda AWV has rugged off-road capability, can carry two pallets and has a 10 hour charge time.

It uses sensors to operate autonomously, using GPS for location, radar and lidar for obstacle detection and cameras for remote monitoring.
