The Ford Focus was the most serviced car in Ireland by automotive aftermarket professionals in 2017 according to figures provided for the first time by automotive technical information provider Autodata.


In its 2017 report, Autodata shares not only the top 10 most serviced cars in Ireland, but also the top 10 most serviced light commercial vehicles, motorcycles, hybrids, electric, petrol and diesel vehicles  in the 20 countries with the highest usage of Autodata’s technical information.

The top five most accessed automotive technical information topics by Irish workshops this year were Technical Specifications (vehicle identification, ignitions system, fuel system, etc.), Cam-shaft Drive System, Electrical Component Locations, Wiring Diagrams, and Engine Oil.

Top 10 Most Serviced Cars in Ireland 2017 were:

1. Ford Focus (04-08)
2. Volkswagen Golf V(1K1) (03-08)
3. Toyota Yaris (99-06)
4. Ford Fiesta (02)
5. Ford Mondeo (07)
6. Opel/Vauxhall Astra-H
7. Volkswagen Passat (3C2/3C5) (05-11)
8. BMW 3 Series (E90/91/92/93) (05-14)
9. Volkswagen Golf IV (1J1) (98-04)
10. Audi A4 (8K2/8K5) (07-15)
