Continental has revised the contents of its CT1167K5 timing belt kit, so that it now comes with a new deflection pulley.

The new pulley differs only very slightly from the one it replaces, but this makes it a perfect fit for the overhauled version of the new EA211 engine that can be found in, for example, Volkswagen Tiguan 1.5 models manufactured since 2018. 

This same engine is fitted in many other vehicles from the Volkswagen Group meaning that mechanics are also now able to carry out repairs on Audi A3 and A5, Seat Leon and Alhambra, and Skoda Kodiaq, Rapid and Yeti models using the updated kit.
