Truck maker Scania has developed a product information manual, which provides useful information on safe rescue after an accident involving one of its vehicles. Although primarily aimed at the emergency services the manual does provide a wealth of information that may be of use to commercial vehicle recovery operators.

The manual contains a presentation of the structures and systems in a Scania truck and is designed for preparatory training. It is available in 17 different languages and can be downloaded as a PDF from www.scania.com/emergency-services.
