LIQUI MOLY remains Germany’s most popular oil brand

Lubricant specialist LIQUI MOLY has remained the most popular oil brand in Germany after once again topping the polls in two influential publications. Readers of “Auto Motor und Sport” and “Auto-Zeitung” voted it the best oil brand for the tenth consecutive year.


Managing Director Ernst Prost commented, “With all the bad news that is sweeping the world and hitting us now, this is a bright spot and a reward for the work we do day in, day out, no matter what the general situation.”

Ernst was also delighted by the second place for LIQUI MOLY care products. He said, “The political push towards alternative drives also means for our future that we will have to rely on products other than lubricants. Since the type of drive is not a factor in vehicle care, LIQUI MOLY can also use part of its product range to score points in this area with electric cars. In this respect, we also appreciate the second place in the care products category. The result proves that customers do not perceive us exclusively as an oil brand.”

The brand has also seen very positive results in polls with other German publications, voted top brand by readers of “Auto Bild” for the ninth time in succession and by readers of the motorcycle magazine “Motorrad”.
