Car dealer adopts gorilla marketing tactics

You may have heard of guerrilla marketing, but a car dealer in Bradford has come up with a new approach of gorilla marketing in-order to promote a used car sale. The dealership marketing manager, Danny Holden, of West Riding Toyota, donned a gorilla costume and walked the street with a sandwich board promoting the three day sale.

Holden said: “Everyone has sales but you have to stand out from the crowd.” The idea has certainly got plenty of publicity for the dealership and help to make the sales event a big success. It was also a low cost means of promotion, showing how some creative thinking can help to give business a boost.
