HBA are preparing for a bumper season with the Exide brand this coming winter and have stocked up on the new Exide Retail Concept display stands.

These in-store modules are not just an eye-catching display, but more importantly, they enable the customer to make an informed decision on the correct battery for his vehicle, by offering him 3 clear alternatives of Good, Better and Best.

During recent trials in a number of branches of one of the leading UK parts retailers, the improved profitability on battery sales was staggering as they witnessed their sales mix changing from 73% Good, 27% Better and 0% Best - to 13% Good, 52% Better and 17% Best.  This resulted in them almost doubling their margin on battery sales, due to the trade-up selection that the purchaser made when given the choices!

The energy demands of modern vehicles have risen by up to 300% and it is important that you take into account not just the engine size and power but also the on-board electrically powered equipment and even climate and driving conditions.
