MAHLE was one of many companies to have several locations within the giant Messe Frankfurt complex for Automechanika 2016. As well a very busy stand for its filters and components, it also had a separate area to showcase it latest equipment in hall 9.

This included a preview of the forthcoming Fluidpro ATX 180 unit, advanced equipment for the exchange of transmission oil. The unit features simple to activate fully automatic operation, digital measurement and effectively eliminates the danger of cross contamination. It can be used in dipstick or cooler modes and also features automatic system flushing and oil temperature set. It allows workshops to quickly and easily perform transmission fluid changes, meaning they can boost business with an additional professional service.

Another important equipment introduction was the Arcticpro ROU, a Recovery Only Unit for safe air conditioning refrigerant recovery. This is a compact self-contained, light, and transportable device that allows workshops to remove substandard refrigerant efficiently, economically, and safely from the vehicle’s HVAC system. It resembles a separate refrigerant circuit without electrical components, which is connected to an existing A/C service unit.

The unit is suitable for use with both R134a and R1234yf refrigerants and can allow workshops to work on an air-con service in a much shorter period of time.
