GS Yuasa will launch its brand new YCX Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer range at Automechanika Frankfurt. The world’s leading battery manufacturer will also showcase its industry leading Yuasa and GS automotive battery ranges and offer a preview of its new European online learning platform GS Yuasa Academy at the exhibition.

In a world first, GS Yuasa will launch its new Yuasa YCX Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer range at the event. Exclusively developed by their experienced engineers, the four trade rated chargers, which can be used for charging motorcycle, car, commercial vehicle and leisure batteries on or off the vehicle, have been designed to extend battery life, maintain performance and provide ultimate reliability for vehicle technicians and consumers.

The GS Yuasa Academy will also be showcased. This is an online battery training platform, featuring over 20 detailed training courses. It covers every step of a battery’s ‘journey’ – from leaving the shelf, through ongoing maintenance, to end of service life. It is designed to help businesses revolutionise their battery offering by improving customer service, reducing warranty returns and maximising battery business revenue potential.

Visitors to the stand will be able to claim a free USB Smart Button which offers ultra-fast access to the Yuasa or GS online battery lookup systems fit.yuasa.com and fit.gs-battery.com. These are far more than just battery finders, they are the most powerful battery lookup resources available and are designed to save their 80,000-plus users time and money by allowing them to find the right battery and detailed fitting information quickly.
