FAI enhances Engine Bearings offer

FAI has announced the introduction of a new extended range of engine bearings, with many additional part numbers to cover popular applications such as; VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, BMW, Mercedes and more.


This new programme of Engine Bearings directly supports FAI’s range of Yenmak Pistons, Rings and Liners. The new FAI Engine Bearing range will now cover over 460 part numbers, giving coverage of some 3,000 individual engine codes and 25,000 applications.

Part numbers from the existing range will now be replaced and superseded with a completely new format as seen below:

Old Prefix     New Prefix     Description
KL                  BB                   Big End Bearing Set
AN                 BM                  Main Bearing Set
AY                   BT                  Thrust Washer Set
EB                  BC                  Camshaft Bearing Set
KB                  BS                  Small End Bearing Set

Information for this new range will appear on Tecdoc and the FAI Webcat, with a PDF catalogue to follow.
