The variable load discharge battery tester is the most reliable way of testing the condition of a 12 Volt battery, both accurately and safely. The unit puts the battery under load for 15 seconds to simulate normal working conditions and then the state of health can be read from the display.

In addition to testing the battery, the Strongline tester can check the health of the vehicle charging system as well as the starter motor.
