Tyre pressure monitoring systems are now a regular feature on most cars being serviced and represent an important additional business opportunity for garages.

All new vehicles within the EU must be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) since 2014 and Bosch is meeting growing aftermarket needs with its universal sensors for TPMS which measure the air pressure directly on the vehicle’s tyres and transmit it reliably to the control unit in real time.

Continuous monitoring of the tyre pressure prevents unnoticed pressure deviations and thus makes an important contribution to road safety. Adherence to the recommended tyre pressure also ensures optimised fuel consumption and reduced tyre wear.

For easy and safe commissioning, Bosch recommends using the Bosch programming tool TPA 300. The Bosch range of TPMS sensors is universally programmable, easy to fit and offers over 90 % vehicle coverage with just four part numbers. The sensors are available as in rubber and steel versions, matching steel and aluminium rim design.

All of the sensors are function and quality tested according to the same standards as in original equipment.

The sensors and programming tools are available from Bosch stockists.
