NGK-sponsored motor cycle racer Chrissy Rouse will line up for Morello Racing Kawasaki in the 2019 Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship. The 23-year-old will ride the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR on his return to the championship.

Chrissy commented, “I’m really looking forward to the new season. The team was the only one I spoke to about the 2019 season. It is a brand-new bike and I can’t wait to start testing in early March. Kawasaki dominates superbikes so it is a fantastic opportunity to be riding the new ZX-10RR this year in the championship.”

Chrissy finished fourth overall in the 2017 Superstock 1000 championship after taking five podiums during the course of the season and he was running in fourth place again last year before switching to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship mid-way through the season. Norwich-based Morello Racing Kawasaki is aiming to regain the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship it previously won in 2015 and 2017.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “We are delighted to once again be supporting Chrissy on his return to the Superstock 1000 series. It promises to be an exciting season and I’m sure his exploits will be followed closely by the many NGK customers who are devoted motorcycle racing fans.”

Chrissy’s campaign gets underway at Silverstone on April 19-21.
