Comline becomes title partner of Porsche Carrera Cup GB series contender

Aftermarket parts brand, Comline, has announce that the brand has struck a title partnership agreement with Richardson Racing for the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season.


Based in Northamptonshire,Richardson Racing boasts an impressive track record in Porsche Carrera Cup GB, having narrowly missed out on team championship honours last season, finishing second overall. In 2022, the all-new Comline Richardson Racing will be looking to go one better and kicks-off its quest for this season’s championship at Donington Park on the weekend of the 23 rd and 24 th April.

The team feature 2021 race winner, Will Martin and series debutant, Jack Bartholomew, behind the wheel, both of whom harbour realistic expectations for race wins, podium finishes and driver championship honours.

New for the 2022 season, Comline Richardson Racing will be running the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992), a faster, more durable and more efficient racer than its predecessors. The the four-litre, six-cylinder box engine delivers up to 510hp at 8,400rpm and 470Nm at 6,150rpm.

Comline Ireland General Manager, Damien Larkin, said, “The Comline Richardson Racing partnership is sure to generate considerable excitement among the Comline Ireland customer base and we are already considering opportunities to connect our loyal customers with the team and the on-track action throughout the season.”

Comline Richardson Racing Team Principal, Gwyn Richardson, commented, “We’re thrilled to confirm that Comline will be our new title partner for 2022, and to join forces with such an established automotive brand is a coup for us, as we continue to develop. This partnership reflects the huge steps forward we have taken in recent years, and one that I believe will be a huge success both on and off track during the season ahead. The reveal of our new look is just the start, and we are all looking forward to getting out on track at Donington Park to get our title challenge underway.”
