ZF duo embraces Cycle 300 for Cancer Research

Two employees from automotive components and systems supplier ZF have take to the saddle to raise money for cancer research.

Mark Boden, purchasing manager, and Lloyd Williams, HR officer, hit the road on their bikes last month, with each completing over 300 miles in the name of Cancer Research UK.

As the cause is close to both of the pair’s hearts, the two dedicated ZF team members took to their bikes most days of the month, with Williams also taking on a 100km ride alongside his brother.

Mark commented, “Thank you to everyone who found the time to donate and increase the money available to help us beat this terrible disease, which by now has touched many of us in our lives in one way or another. I lost my Dad and Father-in-Law to cancer and in recent times have seen friends and colleagues battle the disease in the bravest way.”

Lloyd added, “I pedaled harder than ever because I wanted to raise money for life-saving research and help to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny made a huge difference to vital cancer research, so we thank everyone who has showed support by donating to our pages.”
