ZF Aftermarket has announced that with immediate effect customers of its Sachs branded heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) clutches will no longer face a surcharge on product.

This news follows a decision to consolidate its new and remanufactured product ranges into a single programme across Europe. In addition, for improved efficiency and to simplify core handling processes, customers can now return all core to one central European hub.

“As experts in the field of remanufacturing, we invest the same level of engineering methodology and testing expertise in the production of our remanufactured product, as we do in the production of new components,” explains Martyn Houghton, ZF Aftermarket’s  General Sales Manager, Automotive. He adds, “As a first step in this changeover process, we have taken a business decision to remove the surcharge on all returned core, with immediate effect.”

Sachs clutches are renowned for reliability and quality. They ensure that the engine power is evenly transferred to the road. In doing so they are subject to a number of highly dynamic impacts. In line with its position as a leading supplier of original equipment (OE) quality automotive parts, ZF Aftermarket combines the use of the highest quality materials together with effective interaction of all components to ensure the most efficient cutch system economy.
