UK bodyshop group introduces customer accident app

UK bodyshop group AW Accident Repair Centres has launched its own customer app that helps motorist to capture vital on the scene information at the time of an accident, tracks an owner’s car through the claims and repair process and provides a quick costing calculator for dents and minor damage.


The “What to do in the event of an accident brochure” has become an important tool in the armoury of many bodyshops and the new Apple and Android app from AW Repair Centres takes this to a new level. The app has taken over a year to develop and aims to make the claims and repair process more simple for customers.

If they are involved in accident the app will prompt drivers on the information that is vital for an insurance claim, such as location, road conditions, weather, photographic evidence and details of other drivers and witnesses. It also includes one touch dialling to contact the Group for immediate assistance.
