Leading wiper supplier TRICO is showing how its Exact Fit Beam blades complement its existing wiper range and allows motor factors and accessory outlets to offer a complete TRICO wiper solution with first class point of sale and profit potential.

Long established UK stockist Epic Accessories, which sells exclusively TRICO wiper blades, recently began to stock new Exact Fit Beam blades to complete the TRICO Exact Fit programme. Store owner, Samantha Gutteridge said, “We have created a new full display area with signage designed by TRICO. We have a separate rear blade sign which shows that these are available for all makes and models, as customers often assume that these parts are unusual and only available from the dealer.” She added, “The Exact Fit range works brilliantly for us as the quality is great and our customers are always happy. Importantly for us, they’re really easy to fit. We probably fit around 80% of all blades we sell so it needs to be quick without wasting time having staff out of the shop. As well as Exact Fit, we also keep the Neoform retro-fit beam and always offer this as an upgrade from conventional blades to give customers better performance and to boost our sales value”.

TRICO’S Exact Fit programme is a complete line of ‘direct fit’ like-for-like OE replacement blades, making them perfect retail orientated products. With the range encompassing 99% of vehicles, retailers can offer maximum vehicle coverage.

Epic Accessories is part of the A1 Motor Stores a group that TRICO have been working with for 7 years. TRICO product and brand manager Sam Robinson said, “The Exact Fit programme is constantly evolving to meet the market leads with new blade styles, connections and lengths as new vehicles hit the road. This makes it perfect for factors and retailers who want to know they’ll always have a suitable blade in stock.”
