Think it is damaged beyond repair? Why not put JLM to the test?

Over the coming weeks and months, the economy should start to emerge from lockdown restrictions, signalling a significant business generating opportunity for Independent garages, given the right support. As a reseller of the range for 10 years, Alan Gaynor of J&S Automotive, believes that JLM Lubricants can play a key role in developing these opportunities, meeting garage and motorist needs with innovative products that get results.

Alan says “The automotive sector has suffered in the last 12 months and with financial uncertainty looming large, many motorists are rethinking their time frame when it comes to buying a new car. It means that most drivers will be keeping their cars for longer, so, the Irish garage will need to be there to replace, restore or re-build whatever problems are put in front of them over the coming months, as we move to an era of dealing with contamination and repair, as opposed to normal wear and tear replacements.”

He adds, “Whilst some motorists may be putting off vehicle servicing, they can’t ignore major faults or breakdowns. So, the professional motor mechanic is now on speed dial. He must focus on offering even more value to new and existing customers. And this is where the JLM Lubricants’ range of products ticks the boxes.”

Alan points out that the JLM range has been developed for the trade and is tested by the trade. Many of the products on offer are ‘repair don’t replace’ including the highly respected DPF range, which is a global bestseller. These DPF products, are in particular demand because of short journey cycles in lockdown not allowing regeneration. They let mechanics clean and restore the DPF system, removing clogging without the need for expensive disassembly.

Issues with diesel in-takes are also common, often meaning a dirty engine that can no longer ‘breathe freely’. Mechanical repair of these issues is time consuming and expensive, but JLM can offer simple and effective solutions. JLM Diesel Intake Extreme Clean Toolkit (J02280) delivers effective cleaning of the air intake, combustion chamber, gas valve, injectors and turbo, while JLM Diesel Intake Extreme Clean Fluid Pack (J02285) is a unique and extremely effective heat-resistant cleaning solution, for turbos and variable vanes that can transform vehicle performance.

Alan explains, all JLM products can be trusted by garages because the team of trade testers includes the DPF Doctor Network, including founder Darren Darling, and many highly respected member workshops across Ireland and the UK. Darren has some very interesting videos which show the dramatic results JLM can achieve on YouTube.

Alan concludes, “JLM sales are increasing and we expect this trend to accelerate, as more vehicles emerge with issues from lockdown. More and more mechanics are discovering the benefits of stocking and using JLM products and more stockists are also seeing the difference JLM makes to their bottom line and their reputation.”

JLM Lubricants’ products are available from your trusted local Parts and Tools suppliers nationwide. If you cannot locate the products, please get in touch with J&S by emailing marketing@jsautomotive.ie for more information.
