TEXA was at the recent CV and Workshop 2014 show in Birmingham, not only with its impressive range of diagnostic equipment, but also with its latest air conditioning service and recharge units. Attracting particular interest was the Komfort 780-R Bi Gas station, which provides a total and cost effective solution for workshops looking to offer an air-con service on all types of refrigerant.
Some garages are now put off lucrative air-conditioning service and recharge business as old vehicles use R134a refrigerant, while later models now use new R1234yf gas. Many believe this means having two recharge units, however, the TEXA Komfort 780-R is a bi-gas system able to cope with both types of gas. This makes the equipment very convenient to use, while it is also compact, as although it has top of the range capabilities it is no larger than the other stations.
Elvis Colla, European Sales and Marketing Director of TEXA says the Komfort 780-R is the ideal system for garages looking to capitalise on the huge potential of air-conditioning servicing. He comments, “This is a flexible system that not only recharges but also offers very effective system diagnostics and fault finding. It can handle both previous generation and new generation gases, as well as gas blends, with effective internal cleaning meaning no danger of cross contamination.”
