GKN has expanded the product range of the SPIDAN and LÖBRO brands with the introduction of replacement intermediate (stub) shafts for the VW Transporter.

The range now includes five references with various gearings, these being;
- Caravelle 04/03>
- Multivan 04/03-11/09
- Transporter 04/03>
- Transporter Caravelle 09/09>
- Transporter Shuttle 04/03-11/09

These intermediate stub shafts connect the drive shaft with the differential gear while simultaneously also helping to seal the gearbox. Owing to constructional conditions in the vehicle, the gearings of the intermediate and drive shaft show equal wear. Manufacturers therefore recommend that both components be replaced at the same time, in order to ensure a perfect accuracy of fit.

In contrast to other suppliers, GKN offers these parts for both sides of the gear. Besides the connecting shaft in OE quality, the SPIDAN or LÖBRO set also includes the required fastening screw. Full details of intermediate shafts of the SPIDAN and LÖBRO brands can be found in TecDoc.
