Filter manufacturer Sogefi has warned of the dangers of sneezing, hay fever,  asthma and allergic reactions for in-car occupants ahead of the spring and summer season. These are caused by particles entering the vehicle that are far too small to be seen by the naked eye, yet are aggressive enough to cause genuine discomfort. Almost 95 per cent of the new vehicles in Europe are fitted with cabin air filters, regardless of whether or not they are already equipped with air conditioning.
