Shaftec highlights remanufacturing quality

The Shaftec brand continues to grow in Ireland with its range of remanufactured and new parts offering a combination of quality and value that is proving increasingly popular with garages right around the country. The range includes; driveshafts, CV joints, brake calipers, steering racks, steering pumps and CV Boots, steering gaiters and hub nuts.

In 2015 the company made a multi-million pound investment in a new HQ and remanufacturing and warehouse facility in Birmingham and Darren Byng of Shaftec says that the brand is really seeing the benefits of this coming through. He comments, "Our new remanufacturing operation allows us to produce products of the highest quality and to offer a range that is well tuned to market needs. All products are completely remanufactured, not just reconditioned. This means they are stripped back to basics and with brand new components added. The finished part is then fully tested to ensure it can deliver performance to match the original.”

Darren believes the flexibility offered by the locally based remanufacturing operation is a major bonus for Irish customers. He comments, "It means that factors can offer complete market coverage through the Shaftec range and not just a few cherry picked products that some brands are limited too. Once garages use Shaftec parts they also quickly recognise the quality and will often ask for the brand by name when making further purchases”

Shaftec backs up its range with full technical support, including useful technical bulletins and fitting tips.
