Sealey have launched a new range of high performance pistol grip video borescopes with 85mm colour TFT screens.  Each model features video record and playback, still images and live-stream video via the AV out connection.

Borescopes are an increasingly useful tool for garages and these new models from Sealey incorporate waterproof probe pods which have an IP67 rating. Videos and images are stored on a 4GB micro SD card, which is supplied and allows up to 4.5 hours of video and 10,000 images.  These can easily be transferred to a PC via the USB connection.  The Borescopes also feature a digital zoom control and rotate/flip function of the image, and up to 4 hours of continuous use is provided by a lithium-ion battery pack.

Sealey also supply a range of replacement or alternative camera probes.  These are also waterproof with an IP67 rating, and feature super bright LEDs for a clear image in dark areas.  These competitively priced cameras have a crisp, clear image quality.  Probe sizes available are; Ø9mm with 640 x 480 camera resolution and a viewing angle of 53°, Ø5.5mm with 640 x 480 camera resolution and a viewing angle of 60°, and Ø3.9mm with 320 x 240 camera resolution and a viewing angle of 80°.  These tools are also flexible with the VS8239 is small enough to fit into a diesel combustion chamber through the glow plug hole.
