Tool specialist Sealey has introduced a new drill stand with a cast iron base as part of its latest Engineering promotion.

DS01 is a 500mm drill stand with cast iron base and a 65mm vice. It can be used for vertical drilling using a hand drill and is supplied with a quick jaw release drill vice which mounts onto the base to secure the item being drilled.

The stand features a pre-set depth control and stop for drilling depths of up to 60mm.  It is ideal for accurate and repetitive drilling.  An adaptor bush is supplied for use with a drill collar diameter of 38mm, but it’s not required with a drill collar diameter of 43mm.

The new stand has a multitude of uses in any workshop and is available now from Sealey stockists.
