A further group of REPXPERT members have gained IMI accreditation after taking part in a LuK 2CT Double Clutch course and assessment day at the REPXPERT Academy in Hereford.

Led by renowned REPXPERT, Alistair Mason, all attendees passed their assessments after successfully completing an array of tasks, after first having an in-depth overview of LuK dry double clutch technology, operation, installation, diagnosis, repair and tooling.

Garage owner, John Hall, was one of those technicians who attended the training course. He commented, “The course was very well organised and run superbly by Alistair, a man who obviously knows the subject inside-out. He spent time making sure we all understood the topic and how the practical side was to be carried out. The day went well with the start and end test proving not only to the IMI, but to us, that the day had been a success and we had all learnt new knowledge and skills.”

As well as an IMI certificate, professional technicians that successfully complete the 2CT training course can add double clutch repairs to their workshop menu, with full technical back-up from Schaeffler.
