An historic rally team backed by alignment equipment specialists Pro-Align recently claimed victory at its first major event, the Glens of Antrim Rally, in the Northern Ireland Rally Championship.

The event’s Historic Class, saw a very strong line-up with a variety of late 1970's works specification cars, including Mk2 Ford Escort RS1800’s, a 3 litre Porsche 911 and a Lotus Sunbeam. They were joined by Philip Wylie and his new navigator, Lewis Dunlop, in the Pro-Align Escort. Lewis who is just 19, is an apprentice at Charles Hurst dealership in Belfast and a user of the Hunter wheel aligner system, supplied by Pro-Align.

The event included two runs over the roller coaster Torr Head stage and the Pro-Align crew were delighted to clock the fastest times. Despite a serious issue with a starter motor they went on to secure more fastest times and an impressive overall category victory.
