Great response to scrap starter & alternator collection service

Automotive waste and recycling specialist Soltec says it has been delighted with the response to its latest market initiative aimed at the collection of scrap alternators and starter motors.

Soltec is now paying workshops cash for the scrap units, while also helping garages more effectively handle their waste disposal. The collection service is easy to set up and as an added bonus Soltec also make a charity donation for every tonne of waster collected.

Soltec MD Michael Corcoran says the service offers motor trade businesses the chance to turn their unwanted components into cash and will be of benefit to any workshop that specialises in rotating electric component repairs, as well as dismantlers, garages and bodyshops.

It is an easy to use service with a special recycling bag delivered to the workshop. Once full the operator rings Soltec to arrange collection from anywhere in Ireland. The company will then process a direct payment for every tonne of waste components collected.

For more information and to set your business up for hassle free scrap starter motor and alternator collection please call Soltec (Ireland) on 044-933-5133 or visit www.soltec.ie
