Lighting specialists Osram presented several interior and exterior lighting innovations at Automechanika under the theme "For everything ahead of you”.

The introductions included a full retrofit headlight for the Golf VI, called LEDriving Xenarc. This offers a road legal upgraded from halogen to xenon lighting and is equipped with Xenarc Original D8S lamps for low and high beam, with LED daytime running light and LED signal lighting. It will also be available in special colour editions.

The latest Night Breaker Laser, Ultra Life and Xenarc Ultra Life were also on display. These three headlight lamps offer superior performance and longer life. The Night Breaker Laser delivers a particularly high light output and enhances Osram's halogen performance portfolio. Compared to standard halogen lamps it provides up to 130 percent more light. Meanwhile the redesigned Ultra Life can save drivers time and money by lasting up to four times longer, while the new Xenarc Ultra Life series also offers four times the durability combined with xenon performance.

The LEDambient Connect family an app-based styling lighting concept was also presented designed to appeal to the tuning market.

New innovations for workshops were also on display in the shape of the LEDinspect PRO and LEDinspect.  The Pro Series features five inspection lamps with built-in magnets or flexible hooks that offer excellent illumination without wires, while the LEDinspect range offers versatility and performance for both workshop and home use.
