Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs has announced Ray Nicholson as its Salesman of the Year.

The original equipment supplier of spark plugs, glow plugs, NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors, presented the award at its recent annual sales conference held in Edinburgh.

It is the first time 57-year-old Ray, of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has won the title. He said, "I am delighted to have won the award as we have a 10-strong team of very good sales people at NGK who are very competitive and all strive to win this prestigious award. I thought I had a chance of winning the title as I had enjoyed a successful sales year particularly on spark plugs and ignition coils.” He added,  "Next year will be my 25th anniversary with NGK. It has been a very good company to be employed by and I have been fortunate to work with some really talented people.”
